Self-Repairing Cities (Short Animation film)

Self-Repairing Cities is a stop-motion animation commissioned by Self Repairing Cities to introduce the idea of how future self-repairing cities might feel to live in. The film explores a near future where autonomous systems and robots maintain urban environments — repairing roads, buildings, and everyday infrastructure such as potholes — quietly and continuously.
Created in collaboration with an illustrator Ruby Wright, the project combines handcrafted stop-motion animation with experimental visual techniques to reflect on resilience, maintenance, and the evolving relationship between cities and technology.
